Stihl SH86C-E Professional Blower/Vac/Shredder

The Stihl SH 86 D is a petrol handheld vacuum shredder that also converts into a leaf blower. Available at Walshplant.ie, it combines strong suction with increased shredding performance, which makes it well suited to clearing large areas of leaves and garden debris. Stihl ErgoStart keeps starting easy, so it is simple to pick up and use.

Powered by a low-emission 2-stroke engine fitted with a catalytic converter, the SH 86 D suits both professional users and homeowners. It is a good fit for groundskeepers, landscapers and anyone with a large garden who wants one machine that can vacuum, shred and blow.

Features

• Reduced-emission 2-stroke engine with stratified charge: a fuel-free layer of air separates the burned charge in the combustion chamber from the fresh charge in the crankcase, cutting fuel lost during the charge cycle. The result is more power at lower weight, up to 20% lower fuel consumption than regular 2-stroke engines and significantly reduced exhaust emissions
• Catalytic converter (D) considerably reduces harmful particles in the exhaust gas
• Anti-vibration system dampens engine oscillations, reducing vibration at the handles for more comfortable and safer operation
• Stihl ErgoStart (E): an additional spring between the crankshaft and rope rotor stores energy from a smooth pull of the starter rope, so starting takes less effort and jerks are not passed back to the user
• Throttle lock with built-in stop switch: a brief press of the button stops the engine, and the ignition re-arms automatically once the machine is at a standstill
• Manual fuel pump (purger) delivers fuel to the carburettor at the touch of a button, reducing the number of starting strokes needed after extended breaks in use
• Single-handle control with soft grip area and integrated anti-static system for a secure, comfortable hold
• Shoulder strap for less tiring work over long periods, allowing freedom of movement while holding the machine securely
• Converts easily from vacuum shredder to leaf blower
