Thanks to its powerful STIHL 4-MIX® engine, the machine can dig rapidly into the soil. STIHL has equipped the BT 131 with the STIHL QuickStop drill brake to protect the operator. As soon as the drill jams in the earth, the release lever activates the STIHL QuickStop drill brake, bringing the drill to a standstill within a fraction of a second. The start-up sequence has been simplified, making it more user-friendly. The large support cushion, included as standard, lies closely against the body during the drilling process. This allows the machine to be operated smoothly and precisely. The stable, low-vibration frame grip allows for especially effortless work.  The 0.7l fuel tank allows the machine to run for long periods.
