Stihl BG 56 Home Owner Garden Blower

The Stihl BG 56 is a petrol handheld leaf blower built for easy starting and quick clearing of leaves and other garden debris. Available at Walshplant.ie, it uses the Stihl Easy2Start system, so the engine starts with one long, smooth pull of the cord rather than a hard, fast jerk. A semi-automatic choke and a new start/stop switch make flooding the engine during starting very unlikely.

Its low-emission, high-performance 2-stroke engine makes light work of leaves and general yard waste. It suits homeowners with larger gardens, groundskeepers and landscaping crews who want a dependable petrol blower that is simple to start and comfortable to use.

Features

• 2-stroke engine with stratified charge for more power at lower weight, up to 20% lower fuel consumption than regular 2-stroke engines and significantly reduced exhaust emissions
• A fuel-free layer of air separates the burned charge in the combustion chamber from the fresh charge in the crankcase, reducing fuel lost during the charge cycle
• Stihl Easy2Start for starting with a long, easy pull of the starter rope
• Semi-automatic choke and start/stop switch to prevent flooding when starting
• Fuel pump button delivers fuel to the carburettor at the touch of a button, reducing the number of starting strokes needed after extended breaks in use
• Stihl ElastoStart: a spring or rubber element in the starter handle absorbs compression shock, protecting the user’s joints and muscles
• Comfortable thumb-operated control, so the operator’s hand never leaves the handle
• Protective glasses supplied as standard, well ventilated with wide side protection
