Oregon Yukon Type C Chainsaw Protective Trousers Class 1 (20m/s) – 295397
Available at Walshplant.ie, the Oregon Yukon Type C protective trousers give you chainsaw protection the whole way around the leg, not just the front. That makes them a good fit for climbers, arborists and anyone working in awkward positions where the saw could end up behind or beside the leg.
All-round leg protection
Type C means the protective layers wrap fully around each leg. A five-layer protective lining is built in to stop the chain on contact, and the trousers are rated to Class 1 (20m/s), which covers the vast majority of chainsaws used on farms and in tree work.
Available in five sizes from Small through to 2X-Large, so it's easy to get a proper fit, and a good fit matters with protective trousers, since loose or tight legs can shift the protection out of place.
- Class 1 chainsaw protection (20m/s)
- Type C design: protection all round the legs
- 5-layer protective material
- Suited to tree climbing, arborist work and general cutting
- Sizes Small to 2X-Large
Size Guide
| Size | UK Waist | EU Size | Inside Leg (approx.) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Small | 30-32" | 42-44 | 31.5" |
| Medium | 32-34" | 46-48 | 32" |
| Large | 34-36" | 50-52 | 32" |
| X-Large | 36-38" | 54-56 | 32.5" |
| 2X-Large | 38-40" | 58-60 | 33" |
If you're between sizes, go up a size. Protective trousers need a bit of room to move freely, and a tight fit can pull the protective layers out of position. Braces are recommended to keep them sitting correctly.
